Edit & publish page
To create a page, go to Pages. Click
+Pages. Canvas will navigate you to the page editor.
In the red box, you may enter the title of your page. However, this title is in fact your filename for the page. This means users will not see the title you entered in the red box. If you set the page as your course homepage, Canvas will automatically display the course name for you.
In the yellow box, you may input the body of your page.

TAs should include the following information in the course homepage:
- Instructor
- Name
- Office hour
- Office location
- E-mail address
- Teaching assistant
- Name
- Office hour
- Office hour location
- E-mail address
- Recitation class (if applicable)
- Schedule
- Location
- Lab sessions (if applicable)
- Schedule
- Location
- Instructor
After filling in the contents, TAs can click
SaveorSave & Publish. TAs should understand the difference between these two buttons. Make sure the page contains the correct information before hitSave & Publish.Savewill save the page for later editing, students cannot access the contents of the page. TAs may later publish the page by themselves.Save & Publishwill save the page and publish the page at the same time. students can access the contents of the page once TAs publish the page.
