Introduction

Canvas is the official learning and teaching platform used by the University of Michigan - Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute. It offers teaching assistants (TAs) and instructors efficient ways to post announcement, publish assignment, upload grade, and distribute course materials. This Canvas user manual is used for guiding TAs on the functions of Canvas. It also sets up rules that TAs should follow when using Canvas.
